Firetrucks are maintained religiously and serviced more often then most regular vehicles would be, but due to tightening emmisions regulations they have to be pulled off the road well before their time. We purchase these quality engines and import them to Australia where our emissions regulations allow us to continue to run our trucks.
The engine has undergone a workshop inspection, checking the crankshaft and bearings. It has also been load tested monitoring oil pressure, turbocharger boost pressure, coolant temperature and pressure, smoke condition and crankcase pressure(breathing condition/blowby).
Provided with 3 months warranty on the long block.
